Q: Are you D/deaf?
Answer: No, we’re not D/deaf. We are however Advocates for D/deaf and we believe that everyone - hearing or D/deaf - should be able to own a business to create wealth and stability for themselves and their family.
Q: Why did you create this program for D/deaf and hard of hearing?
Answer: we’ve successfully used our training programs for years to help small businesses. When we learned that there weren’t any business training programs for the D/deaf we decided to translate our successful program into ASL to serve the needs of D/deaf people who want to start businesses.
Q: How do I sign up for your training program?
Answer: You can register for our training programs through our web site by clicking on the Training tab.
Q: Are your training programs free?
Answer: We sometimes have free seminars that teach business basics so that a person can see if starting a business is a good idea for them. Once you decide you want to start a business, we have specific trainings that you can choose from based on your experience and needs.
Q: How many D/deaf business owners have you worked with?
Answer: Offering training to the D/deaf is a new service for our company. We have more than 10 yrs experience working with small business owners and you can read what some of them have to say about our services by clicking on the Testimonials Tab. The success of our programs is not based on language, but on following the steps to success. Every business has the same process for success; the only difference is what people do or don’t do. If someone chooses not to follow the training steps then they won’t succeed because they didn’t follow the steps, not because the training doesn’t work.
For example if you are in school and you don’t study for a test, it doesn’t matter whether you’re hearing or D/deaf you won’t pass that test. D/deaf that true business want to succeed with their own business will follow the steps to success.

D.E.A.F has specifically priced our programs to be cost effective. We realize that if you’re starting a business that means you probably don’t have much money now and you need money to get your business started. That’s why we offer options to our clients. Our programs can be paid for in various ways.
First we accept major credit cards. Simply charge the training costs and pay the balance off using your credit card.
Second, you can order trainings one section at a time and get new ones as you need them.
Third, you can make monthly payments on training programs instead of paying the cost all at once (must order at least two training programs) using our installment plan and a major credit card. Monthly payments average out to only $2 per day. For the cost of a coke and a candy bar, or a Starbucks coffee, you can get the training you need to be a successful business owner.
All trainings programs come with two one on one consulting sessions, and a free workshop for that training program at no additional cost.
Q: How soon will I get my training program after I've ordered it?
Answer: Please allow up to 2 weeks for processing and shipping.
Q: Are your programs guaranteed to make my business successful?
Answer: It’s simply not possible to guarantee that your business will succeed if you purchase one of our programs. There’s no way for us to guarantee that you’ll do the work. Your success will come from the work you put into your business. There are also other factors like competition, the type of business you choose, and your experience with that product or service.
Our trainings have helped hundreds of businesses over the last decade. Read what business owners have to say about working with us.
One thing is for sure; without out proper training you will make a lot of unnecessary mistakes that could cost you your business. 97% of businesses that start this year will fail within the first year. You increase your chance of success by learning from an experienced mentor who wants you to succeed.
Q: I decided business is not for me. How do I get a refund?
Answer: A request for a refund must be made in writing within 30 days of purchase. All training materials must be returned in good condition. There will be a 25% admin and shipping charge that is non-refundable. If you’re on an installment plan, your refund will be based on the payments you have made minus the 25% admin and shipping fee.
