Deaf Entrepreneurs of America Foundation (D.E.A.F) is a small business development company that specializes in providing Deaf entrepreneurs the trainings and information they need to create a successful small business.
Founders Ché & Kimberly Hill are experienced business development trainers having worked with small business owners for more than a decade. They’ve provided training for organizations such as Association of Small Business Development Centers, Small Business Administration (SBA), Minority Business Development Center, Action International, Slender Lady franchisees, Avis Rent a Car, franchisees, and Dallas Community College District in addition to hundreds of business owners. After getting involved in the D/deaf and HH community in Dallas/Ft Worth, and seeing the need for business development training for Deaf entrepreneurs, the Hills decided to offer small business training to the D/deaf.
D.E.A.F is currently working with the Bill J Priest Institute to hold regular small business training seminars, workshops and courses in ASL followed by mentoring sessions with a business development counselor as needed to provide ongoing support.
